Three Days of Popular Themes, Part 3 - Hairy Men

Our third installment of popular themes features hairy guys,

starting with a fellow on a beach towel who may be an amateur.

 

Playgirl?

The rustic bedstead and the slight orange tint make me think of Playgirl or its ilk.

 

AMG

That's John Krivos on the right in this AMG photo from a ramshackle bath set.

I can't place the other model, though.

 

Old Reliable?

I have a whole series of pictures of this guy, and some of them look like they may be

 by Old Reliable.  I don't have any documentation of such, however.

 

One end or the other

The model seems focused on the head on his hair,

but most of us will be looking below the waist.

 

Part of a lineup

These two furry fellows look like they were cropped 

out of a bigger lineup.  Wyngate and Bevins?

 

Staging

I'm pretty sure this was expertly staged to look like a candid shot.

 

Champion?

This one looks like Champion Studio when Walter Kundzicz was going 

through his see-through undies phase to confound the censors.

 

Familiar Smile

My pal Dee sent me this great picture, and I feel like 

I should know the model.  Unfortunately, I don't.

 

AMG

This is 1980-ish AMG, and I've always thought this is the way

 Burt Reynolds should have actually posed for Cosmopolitan.

Meanwhile, our model knows what the viewers want.

 

Three Days of Popular Themes, Part 2 - Low Hangers Popup

For day two of our popular themes stretch, I've chosen some models with low hangers whose named I do not know.  This fellow looks like he could have worked for Lon of New York or Al Urban.

 

1968 yet again

Here we have yet another of a group of files I found labeled only "1968"

and mostly consisting of younger models in color.

 

Sweeping hairdo

This guy with a sweeping hair style is posed like a Dave Martin model,

but somehow I'm thinking more of Wyngate and Bevins.

 

AMG Corner

Bob Mizer made good use of this corner in his LA compound over the years.

The City should put a plaque there to mark the historic spot.

 

Fisherman's gesture

This guy reminds me of my fisherman brother-in-law who used to say,

"I swear it was thiiiissss big, but it got away."

Three Days of Popular Themes, Part 1 - Lanky

For the next three days, I'll be posting sets from some of the most popular themes.  

Our first group is lanky men.  It was only fairly recently that I began separating 

out the lanky models, but they have quickly become fan favorites.  Like most 

of today's models, this handsome fellow is unknown, to me at least.

 

Fred

This is Fred Jensen, quite predictably by Dave Martin.

I need to see if I have enough material to give this guy his own series.

 

Serious

These two guys are giving each other a serious going over.

Somehow, I think this is a Wyngate and Bevins "nudist" photo.

 

Avent's Arms

It's Avent Smith's arms that give this one the lanky look.

 

Olympics 18

This handsome fellow was in my random beefcake file labeled "Olympics 18."  

Although he certainly looks athletic, that reference may be to the Greek key pool decor.  

We'll see another model in the same spot later in today's series.

 

Decisions, decisions

I can't decide whether to call this one "Daddy Long Legs"

or "Nerd Against the Wall."

 

Yard man

I had considered using this for one of my Labor Day sets, but I decided that it was a gag shot.

It does (barely) fit today's lanky theme, however, so here it is.

 

Ken and Jim

Ken Shreves and Jim Avery posed for Bob Mizer in the AMG compound.

Jim is lankier than Ken, but they both are easy on the eyes.

 

Another "Olympic"

I acquired this image during the "sack of tumblr" and can't remember the blog where I found it.  It looks as though the photographer who shot the photo labeled "Olympic" I posted earlier today shot two lanky models in the same session.  I have to wonder if he also photographed them together.

 

Familiar face

Our last lanky model looks familiar,

but the photo came with no name.

 

Three Days of Nudists by the Water, Part 3 - Seaside

Our last installment of nudists by the water takes us to the beaches.

We start with a nice looking man with a boogie board.

 

Champion

Although it didn't come to me as attributed to him,I think this was made 

at Walter Kundzicz's Florida nudist resort, and is thus by Champion.

 

Paddler

Although it probably wasn't too hard to move that inflatable,

I can't help but think the paddle is pretty paltry.

 

Black and white backside

I think this one came from one of the German nudist magazines.

 

Jolly Joe Cool

Our Joe Cool entry for the day looks happy about something.

 

Pale

This guy must be a new nudist recruit because he looks very pale.

 

Rockfall

Although he looks like he's about to fall off the rock, he is counterbalanced by a female that 

somebody (not me this time) cropped out.  I know that because I came across the original.

 

Helios

This is another photo from a rather tasteful European nudist magazine called Helios.

 

Reach

Our beach ball man could reach farther if he weren't kneeling.

 

Iconic

The last entry in our three days of nudists by the water is

a jogger at a very iconic San Francisco location.

It's fun to get naked in boats.  I know because I've done it.  

Today we look at five examples, starting with this friendly young man.

 

Happy trails

Several of you out there (you know who you are) will probably 

swoon over the fur trail down this guy's rather nice belly.

Our scout on the bow seems to be looking for something.

We get a warm greeting from this happy nudist on a sailboat.

And bringing up the rear, our last picture of the series is another

from the European nudist magazine Helios.

 

Three Days of Nudists by the Water, Part 1 - Poolside

For the next three days, we'll be looking at nudists in waterside environments.  

Today, it's poolside, and this guy is holding the long end of a cleaning scoop.

 

Joe Cool

The sunglasses, the sandals, and the posturing make this our Joe Cool of the day.

 

Mystery

I have no idea what this guy is doing.

 

Familiar face

This fellow looks familiar, and I think he modeled for one of the 1960s male nude photographers.  The photo is allegedly from a "legitimate" nudist magazine, and not a Wyngate and Bevins version, but I have my doubts.  There was a lot of crossover in those circles, I suppose, and I should add that I cropped out young women on either side of him.  I guess he was a prize of sorts.

 

Splashed

If you look closely, you can see that the guy 

is being splashed with water, probably cold.

 

Nets

Why would they need nets at a swimming pool?

 

Looking down

There's a girl sitting on the diving board who has his undivided attention.

 

Nice tan

Here we have a veteran nudist with an all over tan.

 

Odd look

"I finally got my picture in a magazine . . . dripping wet and naked."

 

Nerdy pool cleaner

Although you can't see the pool, I can tell you that this nerdy looking guy 

was cleaning it, surrounded by comely females.  This proves for once and for all that 

Adonis good looks were not required to get into 1960s nudist resorts.
