Spain
Although they look like athletes, these Spaniards appeared in a 1933 FKK publication.
¡ Arriba España ! …ou peut-être Catalogne :) Spain became very open during the days of the Spanish Republic. Naturisme was unheard of before in such a Catholique country ! Franco outlawed naturisme on moral grounds, but had to acquiesce when Spain became a tourist Mecca in the 1960’s. All those French, German and Scandinavien turistes were not going give up their naturisme :) And it all started with turistes wearing bikinis and bikini briefs, which were illegal in Spain for reasons of public modesty.
