Blake Little is a talented photographer who is still active and living in Palm Springs today.
(He has published some stunning photos of contemporary bearish men, so some of you may
want to look him up.) After finishing art college, he moved from Seattle to Los Angeles
where he completed one of his first themed sets of photos 1981-85. He shot a variety of men
nude in construction sites around LA, but didn't publish them in book form until many
years later. I will be presenting about a dozen of them today. Above is the cover of the
book featuring the model Steve, below a recent self portrait of Mr. Little.

DeleteI was able to get this book on Alibris a few years ago, an extraordinary look at his work which I love. The Company Of Men and Manifest are also well worth having.

DeleteThanks for bringing his work to my attention. He's the real deal - love his other work - it has an authentic Americana feel to it. Some of his portraits are just stunning.
