Lighting
Closing the Roy Blakey series with an example of some fine lighting and fine buns.
One of those interesting images in an artistic tradition going back at least as far as the Middle Ages, of the human body as strange and intriguing landscape: all the contours and chiaroscuro of vast nature on a microcosmic scale. Thanks!
A favourite photographer who really understood the power of lighting. And like his ice skating career he approached photography with the same precision. Always enjoy viewing his work, thanks Jerry!
I like a lot of his poses. They're unique, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteHe came up with some originals.
DeleteThere's plenty to draw with all these beautiful poses, but as you can imagine and Big Dude knows too, this one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteOf course!

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Pat. Mr. Blakey's photography has been underappreciated.
