Hana Studio
This muscular young man posed for an outfit called Hana Studio in 1905.
Fine musculature, but have to ask: is that lump on his thigh an abnormality? I've seen thousands of photos of hunks at this point, and have NEVER seen this on the most muscular men.
I showed it to a couple of friends and they thought the same thing. Possibly a performer in a circus side show. Plus it could have been tampered with for whatever reason.
If only they had tweaked the exposure to bring out a fine tache hiding in the shadows. I thing he's wearing a dancers belt.

ReplyDeleteI noticed that myself, upon further inspection the outstretched leg doesn't look quite right.
