Models, Part 1 - Assorted
Today is models day, and it will be a two part set, starting with some assorted photos.
Modeling for paintings and sculpture is quite the art. I spoke once with someone who did both and the stamina one needs to endure long sessions can be tough. Something to admire.
Fascinating. A nice easy long pose to hold. Note the turntable under the model.

ReplyDeleteIt is a real physical work out. I often have a soak in the bath after a modelling session.
DeleteAnd at some time or another, whether you knew it or not, the artist may have needed a cold shower. Sorry. I couldn't help that.
