And Puppy Dog Tails
This is a phot of part of the cast of the gay themed play And Puppy Dog Tails.
I had read the review on this one some time ago and it was not flattering. The word "homosexual" was used so many times I lost count! We get what it's about! I'm guessing the gentleman on the upper left is a representation of Quentin Crisp? One site said it was among the highest grossing productions of the 1969 theatrical season. Here is a bit about the author of the play.
Hoping to hear from someone who has seen this play. I found a review online but I can't help but wonder how many performances it had.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious, too.

Thanks, Pat.
DeleteThank you. If it was financially successful, I guess that answers my question.
ReplyDeleteI prefer Naked Boys Singing. That was a fun show.
