Lalaing
Finishing up with Jacques Lalaing's favorite model on a plaster horse.
True. I think he could have excelled at both. I've always been curious about this model since he appears in many photos, I wonder who he was and what he did for a living.

ReplyDeleteI agree, but we have to remember that for the most part, Lslaing did not see these photos as works of art, but aids to his sculpting.
