Roy Lang I
This handsome fellow is Roy Lang, a former minor league baseball player
who was about 38 years of age when this photo was taken.
So, the photo was taken in about 1957. LANG, Roy H. 91, of Clearwater, passed away on Sept. 11, 2010, husband of the late Roberta Lang and Evelyn Lang; father of Sheri Schleben, Debra Clark and the late Roy E. Lang. Roy had 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. As a navigator in WWII, Roy flew a B-17 in 32 missions over Europe & received the Purple Heart and the Disinguished Flying Cross. Roy played minor league baseball for the Cincinnati Reds in 1940 & went 2 for 4 against Dizzy Dean.
