Unknown
It's unfortunate that this handsome and well built model is unknown.
This is a good example of how subdued oiling can work.
Why is it that some of the best photos feature men who are unknown ?! Great photo by Lon who inspired and mentored other physique photographers, just as Gebbé had inspired and mentored him….:)
There are a lot of reasons there are so many unknown models. Some photographers didn't keep good records, and some kept none at all. Some archives along with the models' names were destroyed in police raids. Although they were rare, fear of reprisals against models kept some names from being recorded. And finally, some models did not want their names recorded.
