Even to the untrained eye (mine) I can appreciate the artistry and expertise of some of the photographers and how they are able to work with and bring out the best in some of their models. That certain models, such as Bob D, have great physiques obviously helps but their ability to strike and hold a great pose makes for some stunning images that we are fortunate to be able to enjoy.

PeterAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6524340241288844456.post-81595204566136125782021-08-20T12:30:35.885-10:002021-08-20T12:30:35.885-10:00Peter, I have this paradoxical opinion about Bob D...Peter, I have this paradoxical opinion about Bob Delmonteque. He is not the "type" that I find attractive at all, but the quality of his modeling and the photographers (mainly Douglas of Detroit) who worked with him leave me in awe. I probably wouldn't have given him a second glance if I passed him on the street not knowing who he was, but when I see these pictures, I am mightily impressed.Vintage Muscle Menhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08244653188564625879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6524340241288844456.post-64589670854308993452021-08-20T09:25:17.485-10:002021-08-20T09:25:17.485-10:00While also having sympathy for the polar bear I th...While also having sympathy for the polar bear I think you were right to include this photo in the series, Jerry. Bob is such a handsome guy and has the look of a well sculpted statue. As with Mr Kozak, Bob was another model who has a classical look and is able to hold a superb pose.

PeterAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6524340241288844456.post-55873861112684268342021-08-20T06:29:39.002-10:002021-08-20T06:29:39.002-10:00I certainly don't believe in erasing the past ...I certainly don't believe in erasing the past . . . even the mistakes. You acknowledged the difference. One cannot demand any more.Big Dudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02118746091579056192noreply@blogger.com
