Post sauna snow
These Finnish soldiers have emerged from their sauna for a romp in the snow.
The traditional sauna process involved a cooldown in the snow or cold pool of water. There were 3 rounds of this process to get the full therapeutic effect, or so I'm told. I love the way the photo shows the steam coming from the 2 slippery guys just out of the sauna.
Gotta admire the Finn's...even in war they managed to sauna...and even though we can't see them, they had big balls to sit in that snow bank.

ReplyDeleteIndeed, and I love the way they all look so happy and relaxed.
