Muscle power
Too bad this unknown model had his legs left out of the picture,
or he would better match the 19th C. drawing that follows.
I have another version of this photo which has considerable yellowing and does not show off the effects of the lighting as well. I suspect that someone (not me this time) removed the yellowing and increased the contrast. This looks so different that I didn't recognized it at Arnt's and put it in the "unknown" file.

DeleteI like the way the light emphasizes his chest/pecs and leaves his abs "dark.". Nice oil job.
