Shower
Who showers in his jockstrap? This guy and a fellow I knew
Would like to know the backstory here-the building is in bad shape, but the water (presumably including the hot) is still running. Maybe this is a wartime incident?-Dee Exx
Our high school gym had equipment like lockers and showers rusty and moldy because of moisture trapped by poor ventilation. Our sadist of a coach thought nothing of it. So disgusting, you bet I used shower shoes and sat on a towel while getting dressed.The best thing to do right after using a shower is to use a squeegee to wipe off water from the shower tiles. -CA jock
My high school was built at the height of the Cold War, and the locker rooms and showers were in a windowless bunker under the gym. You can imagine the festering mold and fungus. We always joked that we would survive a nuclear bomb but the place would kill us with mutated athletes' foot.
Odd boxer! In the good old days at the gym with dad my first thought using public showers was to keep the swim trunks on, he asked me with I was missing a ball and pulled his trunks down and I did the same. No sandals.
He sure seems cheerful enough, doesn't he?

Totally agree, it looks nasty in there! Luckily, we weren't required to shower (Class of '82 here).
