Special
I posted this one specially with Albert in mind. Perhaps it will inspire him,
Dear Jerry, All the drawings in this series are very interesting, some more than others. This one is truly beautiful, but I would have used a different setting than these black angel wings. The model is really very well done. For your information, after my training in the basics of drawing, sketches, and portraits, I'm starting another course in September, on characters. You'll most likely see my characters soon. I hope to reach a stage as advanced as the drawings presented today. I now only draw from photographs. My teacher forbids me from drawing from other drawings. I need to find my own style and not base it on the style of others...
I agree about the background, but as you say, it is still truly beautiful. I can't wait to see where your next stage of training takes you. Sounds like you have good teachers.
I have an amazing teacher, and I'll keep the same one for character training! He corrects my drawings with videos that sometimes last an hour, personalized just for me!
Thank you for this excellent series, Jerry. I like drawings in pencil and also in charcoal. The above image captivates me, and the figure has a nice ass... anyway. Good work.

ReplyDeleteThen you are indeed fortunate, Albert! Plus, the results speak for themself.

ReplyDeleteThanks, and yes, that ass is prime.
