Studio Artistry
Finishing with a studio photo that leaves me wanting to know who the photographer was.
Mr. Bowers' charm and fine body are both on full display here.
I like seeing a mature male here, despite his reputation. He's hung and handsome. are there any shots of him with a hardon, and if so, where would I find them?
Albert, I would recommend a documentary called "Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood," 2018, in which his story is told, the people he was involved with, and several interviews with Bowers. It's on Amazon Video (with a fee right now). Note, he passed away at about the age of 95 or 96, a year after this documentary came out. -- 2ndWave
I wonder who inherited his "memorabilia"? He was obviously a hoarder and a pack rat as the doc shows. All those writings and photos, that would be fascinating to peruse through! Great set Jerry.

I'll have to check out the documentary.
DeleteGreat series on Bowers.
ReplyDeleteSaw the doc, Bowers is very down earth and tells his story with a wink….:)
Glad you enjoyed the set.
DeleteJerry, thank you for today's series. Bowers was a clever and gifted guy, as we see in today's set.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Pat. I can't imagine that someone like the Kinsey Institute didn't swoop in and preserve the notes and artifiacts.
