Witnesses reported that American bodybuilding great John Grimek was blushing when this photo
was taken with Edmond Desbonnet. The reason? The Frenchman kissed him goodbye.
The photo below is from Prof. Desbonnet's collection, and some say he actually took it.
While it doesn't look like any of his work, I'm not qualified to say whether it is or not.
It doesn't seem to match the rest of his work, but it's very nice. It would have been nicer had he been hanging free. Or are those trunks drawn on?

Grimek had tried to meet Desbonnet before in 1938 and 1948 without success. Finally in 1949 Grimek met Desbonnet and his wife Rachel.
Grimek was said to be a bit embarrassed when Desbonnet kissed him goodbye in the traditional French way.
