Cover II
This magazine cover is rare and bizarre. It looks like something Freddie Kovert
would have designed for himself on one of his silent drag movies.
I'm sure we'll never know for sure, but to me it looks like someone spent a while filling in the swimsuit in bits and pieces. Looking closely, there's a lot of difference between the right side and left especially at the hips and length. Although I may be dreaming that somewhere there's a photo without the "suit" but it would make the pic a lot less weird.
It was a common practice at the time to draw in covers of various sorts on frontally nude male models., so I'm not about to say that it couldn't have happened here. Perhaps they realized in post-production that the elaborate belt with drops didn't cover the goods.
He'd be a big hit at Carnival or Decadence-Dee Exx
