Bob Mizer, the genius who founded the Athletic Model Guild or AMG, left us about a million images. Well known for his staging, he used props ranging from Mexican sombreros to sledge hammers, fish nets, trampolines, Christmas trees, ropes, chains, swords, and axes. He must have liked animals, too, because I have pictures he made using donkeys, monkeys, dogs, cats, snakes, and birds. His LA rooftop and shower were legendary locations, but today I am featuring some of his simpler studio and indoor work. We start with Jim Collette.
