Military whip?

Charles Zumwalt's stance here is classic parade rest military,
but Bruce Bellas' bullwhip doesn't exactly fit that.

Whip

Bruce of LA used this whip as a prop on a number of occasions,
and I have to say it works here.  The lines of this composition are amazing.

My, oh my!

Now that is a fine backside, my friends.
We'll see that whip again later.

Whip and fist

These photos of Steve Valasek were made around 1965, leaving me
thinking the whip and fist were a bit edgy for their time.
Thanks again to Brian E. for today's photos!

Bruce's Cowboys

I've been getting a lot of calls from family back in Texas lately, so I decided it was time for another cowboy series.  This will be a double feature by Bruce of LA, with the first half being models doing their best fake cowboy shtick, and the second being some real ones.  We start with a guy with a bullwhip whose picture I stole from Bob's Naked Guys at https://bobsnakedguys.blogspot.com/ .
This is the only one is the model group for whom I don't have a name.

Whips

Today's theme is whips and we start with what I believe is
an unidentified model by Western Photography Guild.
Edited to add:  Always helpful, the_cham_cham informed me that this is Ken Winstead.

I like the color in this unattributed photo of Don Fuller and Joe Leitel,
and I'm not generally a fan of color in vintage photos.

I don't know how to describe this one, so I'll leave it to the comments.

Bruce of LA took this photo of cowboy Mark Edwards with a whip.

This guy looks like a graduate of Helga Hottenstotter's Academy of Discipline in Stuttgart.
Probably had a double major in whips and intimidating stares, sunglass division.

The bullwhip, the posing strap, and the shadows combine in an extraordinary
way in this photo of Don Fuller by an unknown photographer.

Brian in boots . . . and a cowboy hat . . . with a whip.
This twofer actually ticks three themes, cowboy, dramatic lighting, and whips.
Apparently Bruce of LA was quite pleased to have Brian as a model.

This Etienne panel almost presages the graphic novel genre that has recently been so popular.
It also has a heavy leather element common to both Etienne and Kris.

A lean and hairy Steven Valasek with a whip
is quite impressive in this Bruce of LA photo.

Men with Whips

A few months ago, I posted a series of photos of men with whips, all by Don Whitman of Western Photography Guild.  Someone recently requested more, so here they are, and all but the first of today's photos can be linked to Bruce of LA.  Anyone know the story on it?  I get an AMG vibe.
Edited to add:   In the comments, the_cham-cham says that this is Sheldon "Bugs" Deal, and he is right.  I have some similar photos of Bugs by Frank Collier of Art Kraft-Dezign.

A slightly menacing looking Charles Zumwalt posed for this one by Bruce.
This color item is sometimes attributed to Bruce of LA and sometimes not.
It does appear in a posthumously compiled book of Bruces's photos, so I lean towards "yes."

Emil Swoboda put his best foot (and something else) forward in this Bruce of LA photo.

Although it came to me with no attribution, the board fence and the same boots
appear in a number of photos by Bruce of LA.  Anybody know the model?
Edited to add:  Frequent and appreciated source of knowledge, James IV, wrote to say that this is Blackie Preston and is indeed by Bruce of LA.  Thanks!
