Although this guy is standing on a diving board,

I think he is just posing to show off his derriere.

These two took the "go jump in the lake" thing seriously.

 

Stunning

This is one of my all-time favorite images from Albert's blog.  Not only is it technically outstanding in terms of composition and stop action, but the model is nothing less than amazing.

On top of all that, we have a hairy chest and a fine happy trail.

 

Taking a dive

The first of two divers in today's set is leaping into what looks like a flooded quarry.

Military Down Time Day

Today we look at a variety of ways 20th C. military men spent their down time,

starting with an elaborate swimming and diving platform in Finland about 1935.

The "diving" here isn't so great, but that's not what we're interested in.

Too bad the camera man didn't wait until the guy at right was a bit more out of the water.

And the "diver" is better aligned for photography than diving.

 

Taking a Dive

We've all been in a few dives in our time . . . at least I have.  Anyway, diving is today's theme, 

and we start with a young man who is proudly standing on the diving board.

The 48-star flag in this one is great, and don't you just love all the guys with their clothes on watching the naked guys dive.  Oh, and there's another nude one at bottom right.

I suppose these could be trollop models on an outing, 

but the photo quality is usually better in those.

I really ought to be focused on the diver, but I can't figure

out what that lattice work is in the upper right of the picture.

I hope he pulled his legs up before he hit the water.
