Doctor visit

"Don't be afraid of the doctor!"

Medical

You have to look closely to see the jewels in this Hungarian medical exam shot.

Sick Call

These are Austro-Hungarian soldiers from a sick call being sorted at a hospital in South Tyrol.

Exam I

I didn't know they made recruits sign at induction medical exams.

Exam II

Here's another medical exam.  This time the ears are the focus.

Medical Exam Day

It's medical exam day, and most of these photos will be military.  We start

with a doctor who appears to be looking right at an inductee's crotch.

VD Check

These World War I soldiers are in the midst of a VD check.  I have some photos

of the treatments used for those who failed, but they are too gruesome to post.

Chubby Doc I

I have to say I envy the fellow being examined by this chubby doctor.  I'd let him feel me up any day.  I am not, however, fond of those army cots.  My family got one from War Surplus, and I had to sometimes sleep on it when relatives visited.  I'm sure there were less painful Medieval torture devices.

Tumblr Fave

This photo of World War II German recruits was a viewer favorite on my old tumblr nine years ago.

Tape Measure

The doctor is using a tape measure around this fellow's chest,

and I have to wonder if he moved on to that bubble butt.

Recruits or sports team?

I'm not sure if these men were military recruits or a sports team.

Tourist?

Dee Exx provided this intriguing photo.  It looks more like a medical procedure

than a spa treatment, but the blanket says "Tourist Department."

Chubby Doc II

Although most of you will not be looking at him,

I just had to post a second shot of the chubby doctor.

Repeat

This is a repeat post from over six years ago, and it is one of my favorites of the type.

It is definitely from World War I, but I'm not certain of the nationality.  Austrian?

Sweden

Although strictly neutral until very recently, the Swedes (much like the Swiss) have always maintained a competent military.  Conscription has been part of the formula for much of Sweden's history, and the photo above is said to be a medical exam from a class of 1940s conscripts.

VD Inspection

Here we have what looks like one of those impromtu VD inspections in the field.

This time, it's the American army, but several others did it.

Hungarian Medical

The last photo in our "borrowed from Bob" group is a Hungarian medical interview of some sort, probably military.  Many thanks to Bob for today's pictures, and be sure to check out his blog at https://bobsnakedguys.blogspot.com/

Military Medicals

Today's theme is military medical exams, and we start with what looks like a group

of World War II era U.S. Navy recruits.  Did they make movies of scenes like this?

The reason I ask is that the image quality looks like a frame grab from one.

Waiting

The guy at the desk is eying the three recruits at right and taking notes.

Eye Test

One of the other recruits seems to be staring at the guy taking the eye test.
