Leroy Grannis

A pioneer of surfing photography, Leroy Grannis (1917-2011) wasn't too bad on a board himself.

Two cameras

Our low hanger champ of the day had two different very good cameras.

 

Camera Man Day

It's naked camera man day on the blog, and we start with a guy who has a Polaroid Swinger intant camera swinging from his wrist.  That's not the only thing that would swing in this picture.

 

Landscape

The way the camera is set up indicates that landscape photography was the objective here, 

but they included a nude man for some reason.  Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

 

Two cameras

This skinny late middle aged nudist has two cameras and a set of prodigious low hangers.

 

Oldest

This is the oldest naked photographer picture in my collection, and I got if off a tumblr called 

Antique Erotic.  It is a postcard postmarked Suva, Fiji in 1908.  The blogger who did 

Antique Erotic was brilliant and inspired me to take up blogging myself, but he 

stopped posting even before tumblr banned nudity and never showed up elsewhere 

to my knowledge.  That made me sad.  If you're out there, I miss you.

 

Last of Sequence

If you've seen these two before, it's probably because I've posted two other photos of them 

from what appears to be a sequence in which the older photographer starts out clothed.  

I suspect there are more than three pictures, so if anybody has more please let me know.

 

Cropped

I can't remember if it was me or somebody else down the nude photo food chain who cropped the adoring female nudists out of this one, but I do have a version with them in it.

 

Remarkable

Whenever I post pictures of this guy and his camera, I get a lot of comments for obvious reasons.  This is the last of several in my collection to be posted here, and I'd love to have more if they exist.
