Carter Lovisone is an underappreciated model in my opinion.  This geometry inspired photo 

by the great Don Whitman of Western Photography Guild is quite special.

 

Older than Average, Part 1 - WPG Models

Exactly two weeks ago, I promised our resident life model commentator, David, a series on older models.  When I was thinking about the photographic half of this double feature, Don Whitman of Western Photography guild came to mind, and sure enough, I found several of his models who fit the bill, starting with a personal favorite, Carter Lovisone, shown here.

Something about the position of Mr. Lovisone's left foot 

caught my attention in this fine derriere shot.

 

Although he was probably having fun, Carter Lovisone looks like 

a casualty in this Western Photography Guild photo by Don Whitman.

Carter Lovisone was probably one of Don Whitman's favorite models, based on the number 

of photos he made of him and the easy familiarity evident in some of the pictures.  

This charming head shot is an example of the latter.  I've had more than one request 

for more photos of this great model, so today is Carter Lovisone day.

Although best known for his Rocky Mountain outdoor photos,

Don Whitman shows he could do great studio work in this shot of Lovisone.

Carter Lovisone doesn't look ripped in this bedroom shot,

but still manages to impress with his body.

The lighting, the pose, and the staging combine perfectly in this photo.

You can't get much more domestic than raiding the fridge,  

and Carter looks quite natural in this WPG photo.

This Don Whitman photo of Carter Lovisone is not the most revealing,

but the muscular contours of the body show up just fine.
