Unnamed 1980s Models

Quite a few gay publications from the period of 1980-1985 went through a phase when a lot

of attractive models were not named. I don't know the reason(s), but it happened regularly.

Today I will post ten such men along with the magazines some of them appeared in.

We start with a guy who appeared in something called Man Hungry.

Topman Talk

My source says this fellow appeared in a piece called

Topman Talk in Honcho's January 1984 issue.

No info

No publication name was given for this one,

but the souce did say it was early 80s.

James Michaels was the photographer for this Honcho photo

that was apparently part of the last spread in April, 1981.

Maneuvers

In March of 1983, Honcho ran an eight picture military themed spread by John Krause

called Maneuvers. I can't imagine not naming the fine model, but they didn't.

Pecker

They called this one "Pecker" which could be a reference to the bird or a part of the man.

It's from Mandate's March of 1983 issue. I'd keep a close watch on the parrot.

Hot Tub

I have no information on this hot tub item,

but the hair is definitely 80s.

Touchdown

It was March of 1984 when Honcho published this one by Matthew Newman.

Red

I don't know if Red is what they called the guy at Honcho, or if some

later collector added it. The image is from February of 1983.

Dinner at Eight

Torso put this guy in a spread called Dinner at Eight in January, 1983.

I'll set the table and put on some steaks.

but the surrounding don't look like Don Whitman's usual Western terrain.

A tropical storm named Lala is approaching the Big Island, and I am busily completing preparations at my home. As a result, I may not be able to respond to comments, messages, and emails as quickly as usual. If my electrical power is disrupted, this could continue after the passage of the storm. I have three weeks of posts in the queue, so you will continue to see new material. Hopefully, this will pass without major disruption.

A well curated website says this is a pre-revolution Russian military photo.

It may be recreational as one fellow is holding a sauna birch branch.

Candid Camp

Someone sneaked this candid shot at a military camp. Must have been summer.

Specific

It's not easy to see, but this guy seems intent on washing a specific part of his body.

The guy in the foreground seems amused by the arrival of the photographer.

Large Group

This large group of soldiers are enjoying a swimming session.

Tumbling

Here we have a guy doing some tumbling in the barracks courtyard.

German Induction

Not everyone in this photo of German inductees looks as happy as the guy being measured.

Undressing

I'm not sure exactly what is going on here, but the guy at center is getting undressed.

Barracks Quartet

I think these fellows goofing around in the barracks are French, but I'm not sure.

Bear

And last, but far from least, we have this bear getting measured that Dee Exx sent me.
