It's "life imitates art" all day today, with side by side comparison of photos with art pieces. this morning's posts are paintings/drawings and the afternoon's will be sculpture.

Many thanks for this excellent series of comparison images. It is interesting and useful for life models to attempt such poses. I have done variants on this ones several times. A you can see the rope allows the model to "balance" and support the pose. I can stay in this position for up to an hour..
