This is supposedly a YMCA in a large American city before 1920.

This is the historic Yrjonkadu Uimahalli in Helsinki, built in 1928, & beautifully renovated in the late 1990's. I paid a visit (several, in fact) in the early 80's, when nude swimming was the rule. According to Wikipedia, swimming suits are now "permitted," but I doubt any Scandinavian male bothers. More info and pictures are easily Googled.
Ah, damn! This is widely circulating as an example of the YMCA nude swimming rule. Glad to know the provenance and the date (I always thought it was more like 1940s-50s) Thanks
Men were not permitted to wear suits in the pools of the Y at that time, so it very well could be a group shot at the YMCA.
