Despite some doubts as to its age, I included this photo for two reasons.
First, he looks like a cowboy I knew in West Texas in 1968. Second, his stance is so typically cowboy that he could almost pass for the real deal.

I think that's Mickey Squires, which would date it somewhere in the 80s.
