George Platt Lynes Nudes
I never get tired of reviewing the work of George Platt Lynes, an amazingly talented photographer, so today I will feature some more of his male nudes. He took this self-portrait in 1950.
Personnellement, je ne trouve pas ces photos très artistiques, mais c'est mon avis... ************************* Personally, I do not find these pictures very artistic, but it's just my opinion ...
I realize he had total control over his photos, including this one, but he looks old and wrinkled and tired. I wasn't expecting a glamour shot, but he could have done better.

ReplyDeleteI agree. He was a heavy smoker, eventually dying of lung cancer, so I have to wonder if that had something to do with it.
