A bedroom with wallpaper that would make Miss Magnolia Thunderpussy apoplectic was the setting for this Barrington photo of an unknown beefy model in trunks. And what about that pompadour?
Once took a trip to Paris in the early 90's and stayed at pension near the Luxembourg Gardens with silk wallpaper similar to this of salmon and apricot- colored flowers with green leaves against a cream beige background. The room was small - narrow bed, small nightstand, an armoire, and the most incredible bathroom trimmed in green marble with art nouveau fixtures. All of that for the equivalent of $40.00 a night ! What they get today for a room in Paris can be outrageous, shop around ! RJ in the IE
