I get a lot of requests for Playgirl models, probably because that magazine was the first publication featuring fully nude male models that could be bought in more or less ordinary retail outlets. As a result, these images were the first nudes many men of a certain age saw. Friday's double feature begins with Playgirl, followed by some 70's art. This handsome guy is Al Cavuoto from 1975.
I'm sure I remember this guy from my formative years. Going to the other side of town to buy Playgirl. Guy who ran the newsagents clearly a fan too.
ReplyDeleteMy first exposure to Playgirl was as a graduate student when a woman friend showed me one and said, "You're going to love this!" She was right.
