Constantine Hassalevris (1913-1982) was born in the Bronx, New York and initially pursued a successful career in ballet. A car accident put an end to that, and he took up photography and moved to L.A. where he studied under Fred Kovert founded Spartan of Hollywood in 1947. Considered one of the great physique era photographers. relatively little of his work remains extant,
particularly full nudes. We start today's series with an unknown model.
Je ne suis pas particulièrement attiré par ces photos de modèles qui posent, mais je dois avouer que ces hommes sont d'une très grande beauté. Je préfère les photos moins apprêtées et qui sont plus prisent sur le vif ou dans la vie quotidienne. Mais cela n'engage que moi, il y a certainement des amateurs de ces photos en studio !

I am not particularly attracted by these photos of models posing, but I must admit that these men are very beautiful. I prefer photos which are less prepared and which are more popular on the spot or in everyday life. But that only engages me, there are certainly fans of these photos in the studio!

DeleteIt certainly does. Perhaps a new model, I do hope he did more. I also like his circular arm position..a bit different. I may well try that one..
