Relatively few derriere shots by Douglas of Detroit exist. I don't know if this is because
he took never took many, or if they didn't survive the destruction of much of his work
by the Detroit police in 1958. The model in this photo is Richard Alan.

Richard was lucky and fortunate to be photographed by Douglas.
ReplyDeleteOne can only imagine the introductions, the posing session and conversation they had. Douglas is gone. Hopefully Richard might still be around, if he is, it would be great if he could tell us about the day he met and posed for Mr Juleff.
