There's some mirror imagery going on with the trees in the background.
ReplyDeleteWow, you have a good eye! Yes, there seems to be a mirrored set of trees at center right in the background that doesn't match the foreground. How (and why) did someone do that? Did they change the background because there was something we weren't supposed to see, or did some modern person photoshop it?
DeleteI think it's some interesting wartime censoring techniques. Why would anyone want to alter the photo after the war? You can see that there are a lot of felled trees in the area. I wonder what they were covering up? Could just be artillery or something they didn't want the location of made known.
