Gee, they even made some sort of special chair
for the Army doctor to get a good look at the equipment.
I can remember, as a kid, watching the movie "Mash" at home on TV with the family and asking our parents to explain all of the weird announcements that were made in the background of the movie that had my parents laughing and snickering. Both were in the military during Korea and Vietnam and were familiar with a good portion of the movie that was going right over most viewers heads. One of the announcements that they found funny was the "required short arm inspection' that is pictured above. Blood tests have been used, instead of this, since Vietnam.
