This color shot was a relative rarity in 1940 when it was made.
Superbe photo pour l'époque! Mon grand-père était photographe amateur. Après sa mort, ma grand-mère a retrouvé des photos très hard aussi (hétérosexuelle, je suppose) elle a tout mis à la poubelle, l'idiote!!! On a retrouvé des photos qu'il mettait en couleur au pinceau, de vraies merveilles de patience.... ******** Superb photo for the time! My grandfather was an amateur photographer. Throwing away unique old photos is pretty awful, but I suppose she was offended by them.
