Barrington was a frequent visitor to Cannes in the South of France, and he did this
drawing of Manu there in 1960. I think this was where he met Yves LeCadou, an
aspiring actor who posed for him in a large number of photos. Barrington delighted
in the gay scene in Cannes, denying his sexuality the whole time.
Cannes et la Cote d'Aure feront ca ! Lieu tres sensuel vous portez tres peu et l'air frais de la mer vous vivifie. Certains des hommes plus ages que les touristes utilisent pour me poursuivre, c'etait amusant. Barrington faisait juste ce que beaucoup d'homosexuels faisaient alors et maintenant.
