Bob D.
The amazing Bob Delmonteque did a memorable photo shoot with Dave Martin
at the Golden Gate, and I will feature more photos from it in a future series.
He was a handsome beast, wasn't he... I remember attending a wedding years ago, where a divorced and retired Royal Air Force squadron leader very commandingly announced that he had "flown over the Golden Gate Bridge as well as under it". He immediately had a gaggle of widows wobbling their bottoms in his general direction and it came to no-one's surprise to hear that three months later, he had remarried. There is no evidence to assume that Dave Martin was the photographer on that happy occasion.
No matter where you put Delmontique, he is spectacular. In this case, he's as spectacular as the background. I like this pose, too.
ReplyDeleteTrue, and his huge body of work put him in an amazing number of different settings.

ReplyDeleteFlying anywhere near the bridge has got to be highly illegal these days, but it has been done surprisingly often in the past.
