Interesting Italian Duo
Is he about to kiss the sleeper, or is he yelling at him to wake him up?
If he would have taken this picture two minutes later, who knows what we might have seen? Nice shadows, by the way. That strong shadow across the bottom is cool. Do you think the lighting is all natural light? And it's good that there is no yellowing to speak of.
The lighting does look natural, and I agree that von Gloeden used it quite well. Since I obtain these images on line, there is no way to know if some previous person used tech to remove the yellowing or otherwise "enhance" them. I generally say so when I either do that myself or on the rare occasion I am sure somebody else did.
Love these vintage classical homoerotic photos, from a time when they were actually considered obscene, so much style and far more erotic in many ways...
