Keeping fit
Staying in shape was an obsession with some of the Fire Island crowd,
but a lot of them hadn't reached the age when they needed to worry too much.
Nice contrast between his body and the background. But the left side of his body "shines," though it does not look like he was oiled. And, with this pose, there is no need for a shadow where I like a shadow. Lol. The real thing is much more exciting. What do you think, Jerry?
I think the shine was sweat. While Bianchi certainly posed a lot of his Polaroids, others were on the spur of the moment shots of whatever the men around him were doing.
