Brian Idol Day
It's time for another series devoted to the always popular Brian Idol. We start with a
color photo which is one of two in today's set for which I have no photographer's name.
A good looking guy, naked in nature and in colour. Wonderful stuff and a great start to this series. Easy to see why Brian Idol was and remains popular.
I have this photograph, unattributed, but with a note that it appeared in Mr Sun magazine in 1965. Am I right in thinking Mr Sun was one of the faux nudist publications that undermined the work of the professional physique studios? That said, I have a series of Idol with Jim Horn in remarkably similar terrain, with Idol looking the same age with the same hairstyle and length, attributed to AMG.
All of the above makes sense to me. Mr. Sun was indeed one of those fake nudist publications. Some of them were transitional in the sense that in some legal jurisdictions, full frontal nudist photos were allowed while frontal physique types were not. (Stupid and silly, but true.) At the point the legal floodgates were opened in the USA, some of the "nudist" magazines persisted, ostensibly as a cover for buyers who didn't want to buy obviously gay material. Some of them even included a sprinkling of women, always in groups with men. Idol and Horn also appeared together in an AMG shower sequence.
Au naturel out in Nature...great! Nice tan lines here. Body well defined but not all steroided up. Thanks for yet another cool series, Jerry!

Perennial favorite around here with constant requests for more.
