While surfing for photos of long-haired men, I came across these two that I call "bookends in time."
The guy at left is Yellowstone Kelly, an explorer and scout who was active in the American West in the 1870s and later went on to Alaska and the Philippines. That rifle was already an antique when the picture was made. I think the other guy is a modern day cowboy hipster.
