Our third day in New York takes us across the bridge for an excursion into Brooklyn
and the work of Danny Fitzgerald of Les Demi Dieux Studio. Better known in some circles
for his published and well received photos of clothed young men in the streets, we will of course
focus on his nude work. I believe all of todays photos are of Richard Bennett, a remarkable
model with whom Mr. Fitzgerald had a special relationship.
Brooklyn, what can one say, so diverse

Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn Museum, Soldiers and Sailors Arch,
Brooklyn Bridge, Borough Hall, Floyd Bennett Field, Prospect Park and a P-38 Lightning. A fitting place for Danny Fitzgerald. and Les Demi Deux. -Rj/IE
Thanks for the guided tour!
DeleteAnd I have never been to Brooklyn! My maternal granpa lived in Newark NJ and I got to see the sights of Manhattan and the Bronx Zoo back in the day (60s-80s) I have vague memories in 67/68 seeing my first Broadway shows, Angela Lansbury in Mame, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme in Golden Rainbow and Pearl Bailey in Hello Dolly. Such a magical time and when Broadway was affordable. Also, the privilege of seeing ballet performances by Rudolph Nureyev in 77 and 79 talk about
Deleteanimal magnetism on stage! Sensuality/sexuality personified. I must say he had bulges in all the right places, I think on purpose for one bulge in particular. - Rj/IE
Great retro postcard!
