Our last early 20th Century photo shows a man experience what I can only describe as intense angst. In one of those ironies that seem to follow me everywhere, the file title somehow got exchanged with a snippet off my Hawaii County Civil Defense feed during the 2018 Kilauea Eruption. It says, "Lava has covered Kaupili and Mohala Streets, between Leilani Avenue and the fissure line." That was the very trying time when the volcano took out 700 homes and inundated one of the most unique and beautiful tide pools in all Hawaii. I don't know how the title got switched, but it fits.
Very arty series!
ReplyDeleteSeems it turned out that way.
DeleteAre you sure it's angst? I thought the butler had brought soda rather than tonic water.
ReplyDeleteThat must be it.
DeleteWell, that was a series bursting with Classical references and interest and I have had a whale of time. Most interesting and entertaining. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Julian!
DeleteNaked eruption angst. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI will always miss the Wai'opae pools.
