R.I.P. Jim Brown

Jim Brown, 1936-2013

Football legend Jim Brown has passed away at age 87.  He quit at the height of his career to pursue civil rights activism and acting, both of which he did successfully.  In 1974 he fearlessly posed frontally nude for Playgirl, becoming one of the very first and most prominent celebrities to do so.  It didn't seem to hurt his career at all, and he continued to be in demand for movies and TV football commentary for many years.  I've posted some of his Playgirl photos, and you can see them by putting his name in the search box at lower right.  Meanwhile, here's a G-rated shot from back then.
