The Bull Island Rock Festival was a disastrous 1972 event held on an island in the Wabash River between Illinois and Indiana. The promoters planned for about 30-50,000 attendees, but around 200,000 people showed up, resulting in shortages of food, water, and toilets. Rioting and looting ensued, and most of the bands cancelled rather than deal with it all. Still, some people, including the guy above and his dog, managed to have some fun.
