Cornered
This built up Roy Dean model seems to be squatting in the corner of a deck.
Further info-- his name was Larry Ferris and he was a Canadian competitive bodybuilder who placed fairly high in the heavyweight class between 1977-1983, but didn't win. However, pictures of him doing exercise routines appeared in MUSCLE & FITNESS roughly around the same time as the COLT / ZEUS nude photo sessions were published.
Ferris additionally appeared in three hardcore straight films in 1982-- ALL-AMERICAN GIRLS #1: Oh Beautiful (Caballero Home Video). billed as "Tom Corman", CENTERFOLD CELEBRITIES #1 (VEP), billed as "Merrick Flint," and UP 'N' COMING (Caballero Home Video), billed as "Ferris Weal."
FWIW, the two Caballero titles were shot-on-film features, nicely photographed with decent budgets, while the VEP title was a no-frills shot-on-video "interview" format introducing a series of new female performers, who each demonstrated her talents on a new male performer who replaced the interviewer on the sofa.
Ferris / Flint / Hooks / Corman / Weal looked great, but really wasn't a strong sexual performer in any of his scenes. Even worse, the two features teamed him up with two women, which pulled focus away from him and tended to block anything he was doing. The video just had him naked on a sofa getting a BJ from one woman, with more concentration on him getting worked on.
It's a damn shame COLT couldn't have gotten him to do a few solo loops while they had him. That surely would've been more impressive.
This is my first comment on here! This is a GREAT blog!
Thank you for sharing Mr. Ferris' very interesting story! I like your point that Jim French could have done better with him in a Colt short. He obviously didn't object to being marketed to gays, as it was well known that Roy Dean was doing exactly that. Tnanks as well for your nice comment about the blog, and don't be a stranger. I'd love to hear more from you.
It's nice to see a good-looking man smiling.

DeleteIncredible photo. The model was known as Leo Hooks at COLT Studio and Merek Flint at ZEUS (and possibly elsewhere).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ID!
