In the past year, male nude photos by George Platt Lynes have been turning up on art and vintage photo resale websites. For a long time, it was thought that only a handful of those photos had been given to a very few close friends, with the great bulk having been donated the the Kinsey Institute by Lynes. It now seems that there are more out there, and that's a good thing. We start today's Lynes series with an interesting photo of Bill Harris, an occasional model of the great photographer.
I am naming this collarbone study The Tortoise.
