This reminds me of an Adamskostum set sent to me by Bob,
Ah, one of those Victorian pavilions. They came in easy assembly kits - so the Danes have some competition when it comes to inventing the flat-pack - and there wasn't a screw or washer left over before the whole edifice came crashing down. By the time I came along, they were a century old and rotting away, but they had their beauty.
Sears and Roebuck sold whole homes in boxes around the same time to Americans. Free delivery to the nearest railroad station, but you were on your own after that.
No, this wasn't in the original "German Health Spas" trove I sent you back in 2020, but I did send you this very photo last December in the first "Wild & Crazy Germans" e-mail. I'd cropped out all that unnecessary greenery, but it's the same photo. If you have a similar group shot, I'd love to have a copy of it. Best from sweltering LA!
Yes, I checked you did send it. I found this one on an FKK website, so you and I aren't the only ones who appreciate it. Keep cool in LA. We have a tropical storm headed toward us.
