It's taken me a while to get to the work of Bruce Weber since I expanded the date range for the blog. I'm saving his iconic Bear Lake series for a later time, but I think you'll enjoy today's offerings. We start with a model named Dave at Camp Rowdy near Bellport, New York.
An extraordinary picture of a beautiful young man. Weber was responsible for many Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Abercrombie & Fitch print ads in the late 80s/early 90s. This pix is a good example also of the power of black and white photography vs. color.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely about not using color here.
DeleteVery much the boy next door - if you happen to live on millionaire's row in Westchester.
ReplyDeleteImage of a nude male youth, much in the style of Les Demi Deux in the 1960's :)
